When I first bought it, it was great bright and worked like a champ. After I mounted it, at night it felt like a ball park bright and fantastic. Now several months later they don’t come on at all.However, seller reached out and shipped a new kitBright! So many modes and no read out of what mode you are in. Could leds on light flash or change to show what mode you are in?We ordered 2 of these 500w Solar Flood lights. We are exceptionally pleased with both the quality and features. Installation was a breeze. The system comes with a 16.4 ft cable between the light and solar panel. The 48000mAH large capacity battery fully charged permits the lamp to illuminate for up to 16 hours. The LEDs are exceptionally bright. They easily illuminate a very large area of our property.The high-power remote control is awesome. Easy to use and loaded with features. We used it a distance of over 40' to change lighting functions.If we could change anything, it would be to add a support arm to the bottom of the solar panel. The panel is quite large and would benefit from additional support when mounted. Otherwise, this is a beautiful lighting system.Regarding customer service. Our experience was exceptionally pleasing. They responded quickly to our request for support, and they resolved the issue to our satisfaction.Hykoont Store deserves 5 *****stars!Glad I have 3 of these during black outs when we got hit with storms. I highly recommend it if you don't want to be in the dark during black outs. Long lasting.I bought the light because it said motion detection but it never shuts off! The instructions seem like they were written in China and are in broken English and almost impossible to understand. This light is a complete waste of money if you are buying it as a security light andrelying on the motion detection. Don’t waste your money!So we (my grandpa) installed this one at the camping site where our family cabins are about 6 months ago!It's specifically installed in front of the new cabin he built for my newly wed sister.They spent a lot of time up at the cabin over the summer, and brother in law said it's been working great.I am not sure how reliable this would be for everyday use, but for us at the camping site, this was a great addition.The light is too bright for my taste as I don't like anything bright (the light in front of my cabin is very yellowish one).Overall, I feel this has already paid off :)Has withstood two storms so far, charge is holding well.Photo with soda can for scale.LIght is amazing, remote is not.This is large, sturdy and very well made. It lights up my entire driveway easily (2 cars wide and 2 cars long) when mounted about 10 feet up on a tree.The remote only works from about 10 feet away, which is a negative. I cannot control the light from inside my house about 50 linear feet from the light. In the directions it says 16 feet while in this ad it says 32.8 ft, so I am taking a star for this because it is annoying and they should be honest about the distance that it works.You are going to want to keep the directions because the remote (which looks like a TV remote) has all kinds of confusing labels like 4+4 and so on. The first number is how long it is on, and the second is how many hours it is on motion detecting. These correspond with the various settings you can choose. I uploaded the page with those directions here for future reference as a photo. The directions are not super clear, but it is not too hard to figure out how to operate it.With a full charge in New Mexico at altitude (so we get a LOT of sunlight) it did last for at least 7 hours on full bright over 3 trials.
