It's hard not to love these. They are bright, battery powered, and quite inexpensive for what you get. They have a relatively narrow beam, which makes them a good fit for a distant lighting truss setup but not so good for closeup use. I'm a solo/duo acoustic performer that doesn't want to bring a lighting cage, so these didn't fit my application and I returned them. But if I were back in my band days, these would be pretty compelling (I almost kept them just because they did such a nice job and had the battery powered flexibility). Keep the narrow beam width in mind based on your application: it might be perfect or it might be problematic. The down sides:1. As described above, the beam is surprisingly narrow. This contributes to the excellent brightness, but you will need many of these lights to properly cover an area2. The remote doesn't allow mixing of RGB -- instead you can pick from predetermined colors3. Mixing RGB without a DMX controller is possible via the onboard buttons, but very slow going4. You still have to run a DMX wire (or buy wireless DMX dongles) if you want to control the lights beyond the simple remote5. Like all multicolored LEDs at the non-pro level, the results of the color mixing are a bit inconsistent. When using a white light with a colored gel, you get pure color. With LEDs, the various individual colors mix into one color in theory, but in reality you see remnants of the component colors -- especially in the shadows. This is not a problem if you are using pure red, green, blue (and in some fixtures amber and white). But for any *mix* of those colors (say, cyan) it gets a bit weirder.I have been using these OPPSK 24 watt 24 led's RGBW rechargeable lights for a month and am very satisfied. These lights project a powerful crystal clear light and do not create any heat. I use these in a band which performs many private events such as weddings, birthday parties, company events, etc. Many of the venues we perform are rented by the client and have a limited time frame allowed for us to set up and break down our sound and lighting equipment. With these lights being rechargeable, I do not need to spend time running power cables. They also operate with a wireless remote so I do not have to spend time hooking up signal cables. I use a total of 6 par lights with 3 on stage left and 3 on stage right. They fully illuminate the entire stage area with no shadows or dark areas. I have used them for 5 continuous hours and they remain very strong with no signs of battery weakness. I considered Chauvet lights before purchasing the OPPSK lights and decided to spend less money with the OPPSK. On multiple occasions, I used the "Chat" line on the OPPSK website and always was connected with a knowledgeable and courteous customer service representative. I am 100% satisfied with my decision. Do not pay extra for the Chauvet. I have been performing in a live band for over 30 years and I can assure you the OPPSK par lights are the real deal. You will not find a better quality light at any price.Loved the simplicity of the set up and the charge lasted for hours. You won’t find a better product for this amount of money!!! These guys are portable, rechargeable, and wireless! Just perfect for a party atmosphere as well as mood or up lighting!LED PAR LIGHTS are bright and easy to use.But !! I've charged them up 3 time now and the chargers don't seem to work anymore.I'm going to take them to work and check with my volt meter.I can't see how both could be defective.I was hesitant to order these after reading some of the negative reviews, but did so knowing I could return them. I am super impressed with these battery operated pars! I charged them up, and then ran them for 12.5 hours on white and they never dimmed and never failed (see photo).I have two cover bands and use American DJ and Chauvet lighting effects on stage, so buying a brand I had no experience with was a concern. But I am pleasantly surprised by these lights. I purchased the 4-year extended warranty due to stage use, indoors and outdoors, and the sometimes rough handling of equipment by our Roadies.I purchased the recommended ADJ bag for 8 slim pars, but found that only 7 would fit. I reconfigured the bag to four sections and stacked them in each section with one bracket down, and one up (see photo). They fit perfectly.I am loaning these lights to our local Shriners for their upcoming Potentate's Ball and will add photos and a review of how well they worked for uplighting effects in a huge 2-story ballroom. The purpose of these lights was to provide up-lighting to the exterior of a restaurant. We typically display only one color at a time, and the LED easily projects light up are seen hitting the bottom of 4th floor balconies. The lights are typically left on each night for over 5 hours, and are recharged nightly. We tried using the sound activated feature, however microphone appears to not pick up sound very easily. To activate the lights in sound mode, the music or sound needs to be raised to a very loud level actually change colors to the beat of the music. Unless there is a DJ outside, or a band with loud amplifiers, this is pretty much useless. Comparing this to an interior LED strip lighting solution we also use that can be activated by sound / music, that system is much more sensitive and does not require the sound to be very loud to actually change colors to the beat of the music. For this price and performance these are EXCELLENT!! I am so surprised that the brand name lights sell for as much as they do. These do the job and are a fraction of the price - love them. Remote control works great too and you use the same remote - you just point the remote at whichever light you would like to control.Update - about three months later, one of the chargers that came with the lights stopped working and it was no longer charging my light. I reached out to the company, and they immediately sent a replacement charger that same day. Excellent service! 10/10
