We had a very dark spot on the left corner of the house, where my wife and kids have been scared by some stray/feral cats (so huge they're possibly mini lions, you be the judge....) and surprised a whole gang of feisty deer more than once. I decided on this 500W Solar powered Street Light to cover the area. Its motion was censored so it doesn't stay on, which was needed as that corner of the property is where all the bedroom windows are..... but what was most important, I don't have to hear the wife shrieking when she turns the corner and a full grown deer leaps directly over her to scale the neighbor's privacy fence like it was nothing.Good Times!!!!!!For some more manly specs, it was easy to install, but because of the height, you'll probably place it at, a 2nd person to spot & hold while you screw it into place.Put it up about 6 weeks ago with no issues or glitches. It is a tad bright as an LED, but I got the 500W instead of the 400W so it would be able to cover the whole area I needed it to.Other than that, it's a 5 out of 5!!I'm loving this product. I gave this as a father's day gift to my uncle and he loves it. This solar light has an adjustable brightness. He can change the setting anytime he wants. It comes with a remote. This is a really awesome product. I made a good decision when i purchased it.This light is great. Easy to install, all required hardware is included. It lights up a large area of my backyard. The solar charges is excellent, it lasts all night long even on the bright setting. Definitely recommendI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these light. My boyfriend installed it to illuminate the area of the front gate and it was awesome bright!!!!!. Everyone was impressed of the brightness. So..., I decided to buy a second one which he installed in my huge patio. The lights definitively did the work. We bought these lights because we are in our hurricane season and usually the power goes off for many days. I want to protect my family and house during that events and now I am confidence that we will not be in the dark anymore. Highly recommended!!!!First of all this product was very easy to install and took less than 15 minutes. What I like most about this product is the sensor it is so sensitive and alerts me very easily. The only thing I disliked was that there wasn’t very much angle to the light but other than that an amazing light overall.This product was super easy to install. I was happy to see that the motion detection was spot on! This solar light lights up everything literally looks like daylight.I use this fixture over my kids playset area so they can get some play time in the late part of the day especially during the shorter days of the year. I usually leave the lamp set to auto 25% brightness and most of the time it will run all night (10+ hours) in this mode even if the prior day was gloomy with no real direct sun. Run at higher levels of output you can subtract about 2 hours for each level you increase it. If it has a day of good sun it will easily run all night on a higher level. Unit has a big solar array on the back, I oriented mine to face the southern sky for best solar exposure. Installation was easy, it can be bolted to a cement/block wall or post with the included hardware, in my case I mounted it to the wood playset with screws and washers.The hardware is of good quality and easy to assemble. The unit is large! Around the size of two full size ipads laid end to end for the "400w" model. Mine is about 8.5 feet off the ground and gives great light for the area I use it. Mounted higher on a pole or wall and it would easily flood an area of 400-500+ sq feet with good light no problem, such as a good size driveway or most of an average backyard.Unit includes a remote, works up to about 35-40 feet away, its of the normal infared type. It can be a little finicky. I've found pressing the button of the function you want sometimes requires two deliberate presses to get the function to happen, but this is a minor issue.Overall, great light output, decently durable construction, includes mounting hardware, and runs a long time even after a gloomy day!It was hard to capture the light output level differences with my camera in the dark. 25% is in the range of a strong nightlight, and 100% is on par with any powerful outdoor floodlight.Installment ws actually easy!Brightness ia perfect.I was nervous that the lights would come shattered, but they pack them very well & protected.Love the lights, the brightness is good ☺️
