I ordered the 400w Solar Street Light on 6/3/2021. It was well-made, sturdy, and lit up my entire backyard at dusk. On 8/10/2022, I noticed the light stopped coming on at dusk. I wasn't sure what the problem was but I suspected the battery needed replaced. Since it was under a 2 year warranty, I contacted STASUN support via email on 8/12/2022 and got a response the same day explaining in detail how to troubleshoot the light. Unfortunately, that did not work.I assumed STASUN was going to send me a replacement battery which meant I was going to have to take the solar light off the pole, disassemble it, replace the battery, put it back on the pole. STASUN went above and beyond. They offered me a replacement light that I got today 8/18/2022.There are many companies out there that offer warranties on products when you purchase them, but when something goes wrong with the product, they deflect or do not respond. STASUN is different. They honored their warranty and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another product from them.I have bought a few different kinds of solar street lights. By far this is the brightest and fast charging light I have found. First it uses more advanced monocrystalline solar panels (compared to polycrystalline solar panels), that have a higher energy conversion from solar to electrical energy. Very few solar street lights in the market use this type of monocrystalline panels. Second, the high capacity lithium iron phosphate battery they use does actually last three days when you have no sun if you select 50% brightness @ 200 watts. Living in the west coast, close to Pacific ocean, we barely have enough sunshine in winter and this light charges within 2-3 hours and lights my driveway every day for four days without much sunshine when I use the 3 or 5 hour setting at 50% brightness. Surprisingly, by morning the charge indicator still shows fully charged. I have also purchased the 200 watts version of this light, but it discharges every night even at 5 hour duration and 50% brightness. Also, the higher above ground you install this light, (10-15 feet), the better the outcome - see attached picture. Third, this light used LED beads and lenses that are exposed to the night sky thereby providing more light that you need, compared to most that are shrouded inside the light fixture beaming light like a flash light to the ground resulting in less area covered on the ground at night. Overall, a great light and worth the extra you pay for it. Caution, the light is heavy but well constructed.This light is bright all night . Like a street light in a parking lot .Producto excepcional!Lasts pretty longThis light is quite bright. We have a horse farm and already use CREE LED's for our dressage arena, and when I saw that this light was aCREE LED I wanted it. We use it for a barn entrance and it works well. (See Updates below) Installing it was NOT easy because the light is very heavy. When I put it up I found that holding it with one hand and trying to get this thiing bolted to an articulating arm (due to the need for the angled installation) was very hard. I wound up zip tying it first to the arm and then bolting it later. When this was solved, installation is easy. For some reason I do not really get, the end of the electric cord has a plug on it instead of being longer and plain. I think they should not do this as most exterior applications I have ever heard of do not use an electrical socket. Otherwise, I hope it lasts because it works well. I also connected it to a DualBright Sensor to regulate it. Works really well!UPDATE: In June of 2018 5 of the LEDs stopped working. I contacted Stasun through Amazon and found them to be very easy to communicate with. I sent them photos of the installation and the light so they could see the problem and they promptly replaced it. I found the entire support process to be quite pleasant. So I think these are good people!UPDATE 2: Now my review below is correct. However, I actually cut the plug end and wired it directly to an interior box to avoid all moisture problems because this is Florida and hot as hell and rainy like monsoon in the Himalaya! I was worried that they would not like this if I returned it, but they actually suggested it first so I confessed that this is what I did ;-) And as far as installation goes, well, this time I pulled my truck backwards to the driveway from the side and thus solved my ladder at a weird angle problem and all my concerns about the weight of this while installing were resolved. So read below with these caveats.The light is not bright like the pictureMissing a key component for install!! They did not include part E which is what we need to install on pole. Very disappointed. Needed for an event this weekend.***Edit after Replacement came***Amazon replaced light with new one and it came with the previous missing pieces. Hung above pool that is in a black hole space with no light. New pic included. Amazing how well it lights the space!
