ATTENTION PLEASE READ. We can customize these outdoor solar shades up to an 1/8th of an inch. We follow up with every customer to see if they need more precise measurements, and an inside or outside mount. You will receive a customization email through Amazon within 24 hours.
For an INSIDE the window frame mount, give us the exact measurements of the opening to the 1/8. We take a 1/4 deduction off of your exact measurement(the shade needs to be smaller than the opening to fit). Minimum depth for an inside mount is 2". We typically ship in 3-5 days after receiving your measurements. We can only wait week for your response or we will go with the exact measurements ordered.
For an OUTSIDE the window frame mount we take no deductions- provide us with the exact size you want. Outside mounts are traditionally mounted above the window opening, and go slightly wider than the opening. For an outside mount whatever size you give us is the exact size you will receive. Keep in mind that all widths include the brackets which take up a little over 1/2 inch on each side. So material width will be 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" smaller.
Solar shades block light but still allow you to have a view of outside. These are outdoor shades and can get wet. They come with elastic tie downs for the bottom to prevent them from flopping around.
