The area around the alley and my driveway behind my house has always been very dark. I have been concerned about the wrong people lurking in the area. I decided to get on Amazon and see if I could find some way to light the area. I found the 2 Pack 200W Solar Street Light, 8000 Lumens Dusk to Dawn Solar Outdoor Lights Motion Sensor Waterproof IP66 6000K Security Solar Flood Light for Yard, Garage, Garden and decided to give them a try. The lights came well packaged in a sturdy box. The lights were packed nicely in the box, stacked with one on top of the other. I just need one light at this time so that made it easy to remove just the top light and leave the other light still nicely packaged in the box. The light was a bit bigger than I anticipated but not too big. They need to be big to put out enough light, I guess. Installation was relatively easy. I bought a 2" pole and installed a light on my fence so it would light both my driveway and the alley. I had a few issues getting the light to work the way I wanted it to work using the remote initially. I was able to set the light the way I wanted after trying a few things with the remote. I wanted to use the motion sensing capabilities of the light so I used the "Radar" feature using the remote. The light is very bright and lights up the entire area I wanted to light up. You can adjust the brightness of the light using the remote, which is a nice feature. Using the "Radar" function activates the motion sensor on the light. When in "Radar" mode, the light will be at 30% brightness normally after dusk. The light will go to 100% brightness when motion is detected. This is exactly what I was looking for. The light will automatically come on at dusk and go off at dawn so it doesn't use energy when it isn't needed. Overall, I think the 2 Pack 200W Solar Street Lights are a very good option for lighting dark areas around your property that you would like to be illuminated at night.Finally, a matching 2 pack of lights. I am putting these in my backyard and was so excited about having a matching set. I have unpacked these 800w solar street lights and am very excited to put them up as they have 50000 lumens dusk to dawn solar outdoor lights with motion sensors. This is great for our backyard to keep people out.I have very similar light in the front, but not a matching pair, we love everything solar here in Arizona. Already picked the spot and had the light in the sun, just finished up painting the house and it’s going to get a lighting upgrade. We have an ally so I love the motion detection for added security, and the remote so I can operate from inside the house these are simply terrific.Very bright and easy to configure with included remote. I have it scheduled for on for 2 hours and then radar (motion). Works great and easy to install. It’s on until sunrise the next day everyday. I would definitely put up more if the need arises. Thanks for a great product!I needed some lights for the back end of the fence where I really like the design of the streetlights and went looking for something like that but smaller. I found these, really good specs, great design and a nice size too and had to give these a try. I was not disappointed; these worked out great. First off, they are very easy to install. Two large bolts hug the pole and clamp on really tight. Secondly, they work great. Very bright, and very sensitive to motion too. Lastly, they last all night and I have never had these run out of juice either. No cons, really worked out great for me, where I am very happy with the purchase.Easy to install and lights up what I wanted!Bright is not as it is portrayed and the remote control doesn’t work it’s very fragile. I installed at a height of about 20 feet from the ground. Remotes doesn’t connect at all with either light, the lights will operate sensors mode only.Installation too easy to do, I will give a thumbs up.Shipping was fast. These lights are VERY bright and sensitive to motion. Installation is quick and simple as well.
